@thad - hole 2 awaits your services...
Paging @Nicklaus Mills !
Your turn to fire @nv7
This is already my favorite ping pong ever... love holes 2 and 3!
Line work progress for holes 1-3
That looks amazing. I thought the creek on 3 was a cart path, that makes it much clearer.
Could have an alternate 4th tee on the right side of the creek...
Could have one by old 3 green. Could be a cool chute through the trees.
@Josh hole 6 awaits
@David Kahn back to you. Any chance you can show the line work again?
Yes. Will show every 3 holes.
Line work progress for holes 1-6:
Hole 7 will be posted this evening. Excited for a short, drop shot par 3.
Hole 7 - @thad you're up!
Clever use of tree corridor to access different facets of the green;)
@David Kahn @thad Really cool feature considering a lot of people say fewer trees is always better. To what extent should trees play a role in golf course strategy?
Hitting out of a chute is a very satisfying experience. Width is awesome as well. Variety is ultimately best in my opinion. Trees kill grass, so that’s more the caveat when analyzing if trees should stay or remain. Something good to consider when questioning if a tree should come down is this: ask, “if a tree wasn’t there, would you ever plant one in that location? If the answer is no, cut it down without hesitation.
@Nicklaus Mills the pencil is yours!
@nv7 tag you're it.
Front 9 Complete!
