HAYDEN LAKE

country club

Sitting along the western shore of Hayden Lake just north of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Hayden Lake Country Club is the oldest golf club in the state dating to 1907. With ties to Fredrick Law Olmstead’s design firm, the property and facilities have been witness to a large swath of history in the Pacific Northwest since inception. JKD has been engaged with Hayden Lake over the past decade in artfully instituting design adjustments that pay honor to the club’s past while maximizing its potential for the future.

"Tim Jackson and David Kahn, of Jackson Kahn Design, have transformed the Hayden Lake Country Club into something truly special.  The HLCC Golf Course, developed in 1907, was the first 18 hole course of its kind in all of the Pacific Northwest.  With attention to detail and our unique history, they have brought our course into the new century while featuring our past traditions.  In my opinion, their skill and passion for this industry is unmatched, as is their eye for design and tireless work ethic.  Our club and course have been improved beyond measure due to Jackson Kahn Design."
