Let's explore how Augusta National could look in an alternate universe. Get creative and don't be bashful. Here is a base photo to get you started. Feel free to upload your own starting pics if there are other holes you'd like The Workshop to brainstorm.

Here it was back in 1939, pretty rustic, but no clutter behind.
As a nod to the golden age, I tried to imagine this hole with a C.B. Macdonald flair. A redan-esque one shooter with a green slopped away and some deadly bunkers in front. @Calan Hoppe I could use some procreate lessons. Your sketch is awesome.
Tried to imagine this with cleaner simpler lines and less clutter. I love to see the azalaes as much as anybody, but I like clean lines usually and thought it would look nice. I extended the green back and created a drop off behind and shortened up the right side of the green. Doesn't need all the flowers to be a great looking hole.
Here is mine!
My take on an alternate universe. Creating a more naturalistic bunker style to compliment the spectacular natural environment. Offsetting the position and scale of the front vs. back bunkers add to the aesthetic in my opinion. Bringing more false edge into the putting surface on the left makes the easy bail out much more challenging.
